Cyclist Isabel Darvill, racing for UCI Continental Team, Dolceni-O’Shea, scored one of her best performances in the eighth ANEXO/CAMS Women’s CICLI Classic at Melton Mowbray on Sunday. Racing in atrocious weather conditions with flooded roads and farm tracks across the countryside between Melton and Oakham the front of the race was whittled down to the strongest dozen riders.
