Top seed Alexander Zverev missed out a place in the final of the ATP tournament in Los Cabos after a defeat to Australia’s Jordan Thompson on Saturday. Thompson surprised the German player to prevail 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (7-2) after 3 hours 40 minutes of play. Zverev fended off five match points before the tie-break, but was unable to keep it up and the Australian made the best out of his chance.
