Summer is unofficially under way in New Jersey with the arrival of Memorial Day Weekend ushering in beach season. Unfortunately, that also means you have to pay to get on the beach now in most Jersey Shore towns. Most New Jersey’s beaches require paid badges or tags, with pricing ranging from daily passes for $3.50 to seasonal badges that will set you back $150.
