A WOMAN drink-driver has been given a suspended prison sentence because of the high alcohol reading. Maxine Taylor had drunk more than three-and-a-half times the legal limit, Reading magistrates heard on Tuesday, August 20. The 54-year-old, of Mallard Way, Aldermaston, admitted driving a Kia Sportage on the A4 Bath Road in Theale on Friday, August 2, after drinking more than the legal limit. Tests showed 126mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system. The legal limit is 35mcg.
