By Tom Gott Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has confirmed Harry Kane will miss the chance to face former employers Tottenham Hotspur in next month’s pre-season friendly. Kane picked up a back injury late in the 2023/24 season and was clearly below full fitness throughout Euro 2024, although he still managed to finish as the joint-top scorer with three goals for the beaten finalists.
