An 80-year-old who was posting a political sign in Michigan was hit by an ATV rider who authorities say was targeting supporters of former President Donald Trump. A 22-year-old man told police in Hancock he wanted to “confess a crime involving an ATV driver within the last 24 hours,” the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Tuesday. Officers were called to a Samson Street home in Quincy Township on Monday and found the suspect dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said. Want more breaking political news?
