The U.S. Department of Defense has announced that a chemical tanker was hit in the Indian Ocean by a drone launched from Iran. It happened 200 nautical miles off the coast of India, reports Reuters. A Pentagon spokesperson told reporters that the drone attack on Saturday morning was carried out by a “one-way attack drone fired from Iran.” It is specified that the Liberian-flagged tanker CHEM PLUTO, owned by Japan and the Netherlands, was hit.
