Motorists were hit with a raft of road works including two road closures causing Monday morning misery in Bishop’s Stortford. Residents were reporting difficulty in getting into and out of the southside of town after the closure of Linkside Road and road works on London Road. Later on a small section at the bottom of Hadham Road was closed for work by Affinity Water. Open Reach began work to repair a junction box on the pathway near the junction of Pig Lane last week, leading to the closure of a section of the southbound carriageway and the installation of three way traffic signals.
