A man was injured Tuesday afternoon when he jumped from an overpass in Newark and missed an airbag police had set up for him, authorities said. Officers were called to the Fabyan Bridge, an overpass that crosses I-78 in the city, for calls of a man threatening to jump, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said in a statement.
