A 69-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of pensioner Una Crown, who was found dead in her bungalow in 2013. David Newton was last month charged with the 86-year-old’s murder at her home on Magazine Close in Wisbech 11 years ago. Newton, also of Magazine Close, appeared at Cambridge Crown Court yesterday for a plea and trial preparation hearing, at which he entered a not guilty plea.
