French conservatives on Friday ruled out participating in a governing coalition, after meeting with President Emmanuel Macron for talks aiming to resolve the country’s political future. “We will not participate in any government coalition,” said Laurent Wauquiez, leader of the Droite Républicaine (Republican Right) parliamentary group.
