POCO has introduced the F6 series of smartphones to the world markets. It includes POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro. The F6 and F6 Pro are rebranded variants of the Redmi Turbo 3 and Redmi K70 Pro, which are available in China. This is not surprising, as POCO phones are redesigned versions of Redmi devices.
The POCO F6 and F6 Pro feature a 6.67-inch OLED display integrated with a fingerprint scanner and a 120Hz refresh rate. The former has a 1.5K resolution and a peak brightness of 2400 nits, while the latter has a 2K resolution with a peak brightness of 4000 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Both phones have flat bezels. The standard model has two protruding camera rings, while the professional model has a rectangular island.
The POCO F6 has a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. At the same time, the K70 Pro has a triple rear camera consisting of a 50-megapixel OIS main lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the front, the standard and professional models have 20-megapixel and 16-megapixel selfie cameras. Both phones are equipped with artificial intelligence features such as object erasure and more.
Under the hood, POCO F6 is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. On the other hand, F6 Pro is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The first model has up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the Pro model has up to 16GB and 1TB of RAM and storage, respectively. There is a heat dissipation system on board. The POCO F6 duo is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery. The standard variant supports 90W charging, while the professional model reaches a maximum power of 120W. In terms of software, the POCO F6 series comes with Android 14 based on HyperOS.
In India, the POCO F6 starts at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB+256GB version, while the 12GB+256 costs Rs. 31,999. There is also a 12GB + 512GB variant priced at Rs. 33,999. It will be available for purchase from May 29 in the country. The smartphone is offered in Titanium Glow, Classic Black, and Everland Green colors.
In global markets, the POCO F6 costs $379 and $429 for similar configurations. The F6 Pro 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants cost $499 and $549, respectively. The most powerful 16GB + 1TB variant costs $629.
