A former village butcher’s could be transformed into a home in a bid to prevent it “falling into disrepair or becoming neglected”. Daniel Reed has submitted a planning application which, if approved, would see the Methwold Old Butcher’s Shop have its use changed to a one-bedroom property. The proposals for the High Street building, which is within the Methwold Conservation Area, will soon go out for consultation.
