The Chinese company Titan Wind Energy has announced plans to build foundations for offshore wind turbines in Cuxhaven, a city on Germany’s North Sea coast. A final investment decision has been made to build a new factory with the company planning to invest up to €300 million ($322 million). Production of the foundations, known as monopiles, is expected to begin in 2025, creating more than 600 jobs.
