Emergency services and charities are reminding people to stay safe on the water as we head into the bank holiday weekend. It comes after a man in his 70s died after getting into difficulty in the sea at Brancaster along with other incidents across Norfolk over the last week which have seen several people lose their lives on the water. These included a man who died after entering a river in Great Yarmouth, a man’s body found in the River Wensum in Costessey, and another man’s body found in the water at Wroxham Broad within the last week.
