A village’s horticultural summer show will be celebrating its 131th year this bank holiday. The Lowdham summer show is on Bank Holiday, Monday (August 26) at Lowdham Village Hall and playing fields. The event will be open to the public from 1pm to 4.30pm. Entertainment for the day includes an acrobatic display by the Dako Flying Angels, music by Nottingham Concert Band and a Punch and Judy show. There will also be a variety of sideshows and stalls, traditional games, drinks and homemade cake.
