The 2034 Winter Olympics are to be held in Salt Lake City in the United States, the IOC Session confirms. Earlier, the full meeting of IOC members in Paris also voted in favour of the 2030 Winter Olympics being hosted in the French Alps pending certain financial conditions. The International Olympic Committee’s executive board had already recommended the two bids as hosts back in June but the Session had to rubber-stamp the decisions.
