There were strong airstrikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs on Wednesday, with aircraft flying at least six powerful raids, according to a dpa reporter in the city. Orange balls of fire lit up the skies of Beirut, targeting al Hadath al Leilaki in the city’s southern suburbs. Loud explosions echoed throughout the city and Mount Lebanon. There was also a strike on the al Janah area which is close to Beirut international airport. The Lebanese Health Ministry said one person was killed and five were injured, including a child, in a strike on the Janah area.
