Tipster Digital Chat Station shed light on the camera configuration of the upcoming Oppo Find X8 smartphones. The leak describes in detail the camera systems for both the standard Find X8 and the higher-end Find X8 Pro.

The Find X8, which the leak called a “medium cup,” will have a triple camera with a single periscopic telephoto lens. Reportedly, the main one will have a 50-megapixel 1/1.4-inch sensor. Details about the other two cameras remain unknown.

The “big cup”, which probably refers to the Find X8 Pro, will have four cameras with two periscopic telephoto lenses. Like the standard model, the Find X8 Pro also has a 50-megapixel primary sensor measuring 1/1.4-inch. It is reportedly the same Sony LYT-808 sensor as the Find X7.

The leak also clarifies that the new periscope module uses a Sony IMX882 sensor (also known as LYT600), which measures 1/1.953 inches.

In addition, previous reports indicate that the standard Oppo Find X8 will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 processor and will have a 1.5K flat display. The battery capacity is expected to range from 5100 mAh to 5500 mAh.

The Pro model, on the other hand, is rumored to have a 2.7D curved display. Both the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are expected to have a glass back and go on sale in October this year.

Oppo has also released an Ultra model in the Find X7 lineup. Naturally, we expect it to be replaced by the Find X8 Ultra. This model will most likely be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, although it is rumored to arrive sometime next year.
