French food and beverage group Danone on Thursday reported sales of €6.8 billion ($7.3 billion) for the third quarter, down 1.2% year-on-year. Danone – whose brands include Activia yogurt, Evian water and International Delight coffee creamer – said that on a like-for-like basis, however, sales increased 4.2%. The North American market and the China, North Asia & Oceania group were singled out for their strong performances. Looking forward, the company has confirmed its outlook for full-year like-for-like sales growth in the range of 3% to 5%
