A leisure centre swimming pool in a Suffolk town has been closed as damage to a roof panel is investigated and repaired. The pool and health suite at Kingfisher Leisure Centre in Sudbury is temporarily closed for a week until Saturday, August 31, at the earliest. A glass panel directly above the pool broke and the cause of the damage is not yet known. Work to repair the panel will require the pool to be drained and scaffolding erected.
