Labaron Philon will not be headed to Lawrence after all. The 6-foot-3 point guard out of Link Academy (MO) has requested his release from his National Letter of Intent (NLI) to Kansas and will reopen his recruitment, according to sources. The four-star senior committed to the Jayhawks in September and signed his NLI during the early period in November. He ultimately chose Kansas over Alabama, Cincinnati, and Ole Miss.
