Police in the city of Stade in Lower Saxony, and the public prosecutor’s office carried out numerous raids in Germany, Poland and Spain on Friday as part of an investigation into suspected embezzlement and money laundering in the clan milieu. The suspects are accused of defrauding an association in Drochtersen near Stade and its Spanish subsidiary of €6 million ($6.5 million).
