A total of 16 seriously ill minors from the Gaza Strip are to be treated in Spanish hospitals. A Spanish military medical aircraft has flown to the Egyptian capital Cairo to bring the children and young people as well as 27 family members to Madrid, the Ministry of Defence announced in response to an enquiry on Wednesday. Most have serious injuries from the ongoing war in the coastal strip, along with a cancer patient and a patient with a serious heart defect.
