Judge Lewis Kaplan called for another hold in E. Jean Carroll’s defamation damages trial with former President Donald Trump, The Messenger wrote late Tuesday. Trump’s lawyer, Alina Habba, told the court on Monday that she was exposed to COVID, which her parents have. A juror also called in sick. The court could ultimately decide to proceed with fewer jurors. Trump is expected to testify, but couldn’t be in court on Tuesday due to the New Hampshire primary election.
