Obesity, depression, mental health issues and domestic violence are all on the rise in Kent, according to a new report. The study, which highlights serious social and health challenges facing the county’s two million residents, shows people are living shorter, unhealthier lives, particularly in coastal communities. The issues are highlighted in the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Strategy, which contains input from many bodies including Kent County Council (KCC), Medway Council and the NHS.
