Honor is preparing to launch the Honor 200 series in China in the near future. But it seems that this is not the only line of smartphones in the company’s plans. A fresh leak claims that the Honor X60 series is also in the works, and some of its features have been revealed. So let’s take a look.
The news came from the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, which shared the information on Weibo. As the name suggests, the X60 series is the successor to the X50 line. The latter included such models as X50, X50i, X50i+, X50 Pro, and X50 GT. In other words, there are probably several variants of the Honor X60. The whistleblower also shared some key design details of the upcoming devices.
The smartphone will reportedly feature a quadrangular curved display on the front panel. This is usually typical for high-end devices, so the X60 will likely continue to be positioned as an affordable flagship phone, just like its predecessor. In addition, Digital Chat Station claims that the Honor X60 series will be powered by a large battery and will have “super” drop protection. The brand has already released devices with drop protection in the recent past, so this is nothing new.
Unfortunately, this is all the information we have at the moment, as DCS has not shared any more details such as specifications, price, or launch date. But we can expect more details to come soon through leaks and teasers. So stay tuned as we will provide updates as more information becomes available on this.
