Lufthansa on Monday extended its flight ban for Israel and Iran up to and including October 14 amid the tense security situation in the region. The German airline announced that flights to Tel Aviv and Tehran would be cancelled during this period and that its aircraft would bypass Israeli and Iranian airspace. Lufthansa’s flights to Beirut are to remain suspended as planned until October 26 inclusive.
