Vivo has launched a new smartphone, the Y36t, aimed at customers looking for a budget device. The device debuted on the Chinese e-commerce site Jingdong.
Technical specifications of Vivo Y36t:
In terms of design, the Y36t offers two color options: space black and sapphire green. It features a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and supports a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz.
Vivo The Y36t is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, which includes a dual-core configuration clocked at 2.0 GHz and a hexa-core configuration clocked at 1.8 GHz. It comes with 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of eMMC5.1 memory. In addition, the device contains a large 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging capability.
The device is equipped with a 13-megapixel main camera with 4x digital zoom and a 5-megapixel front camera with face recognition for unlocking the phone.
Additional features of the Y36t include a 150% volume mode, IP54 dust and water resistance certification, and operation on the OriginOS 4 system based on Android 14.
Price and availability
As mentioned above, the Vivo Y36t is available in China via Jingdong at an initial discounted price of 749 yuan ($105). After the discount period ends, it will cost 799 yuan ($112).
