Germany’s Julia Taubitz claimed the luge World Cup overall title despite a third-place finish in Sigulda, Latvia on Saturday. “Aren’t we a beautiful couple?” Taubitz said after she kissed the World Cup trophy – a crystal sphere. This was her fourth overall title and third consecutive triumph. “It’s unbelievable. I’ve never won the overall World Cup this early.
