Egypt said on Friday it had signed a deal with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to develop an area on the Egyptian Mediterranean coast, which would be bring in $35 billion worth of investment in just two months. Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said the project is the “largest foreign direct investment deal” in the country’s history.
