On July 10, Samsung may hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. Recent reports claim that the South Korean tech giant is also working on a Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra, which may remain exclusive to the home market. Although the specs of the Ultra variant have not yet emerged, rumors have begun to spread about another model called the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim. Two reliable sources confirmed the existence of the Slim variant, revealing its display size and expected price.

According to display analyst Ross Young, Samsung is planning to release a foldable phone called the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim. He revealed that the screen size of the Fold 6 Slim will be larger than that of the regular Fold 6. The leak suggests that the device may not have S Pen support and will cost the same as the Fold 6.

Yang also said that panel shipments will begin in the fourth quarter of this year. It is likely that the device, along with the Galaxy S25 series, will be officially unveiled in the first quarter of 2025.

Popular leakster Ice Universe claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will feature an 8-inch internal folding screen and a 6.5-inch cover display. It is claimed that the aspect ratio of the Slim model’s displays is different from that of the Z Fold 6. It is likely that the Slim variant could be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. Unfortunately, other details about the Slim version are kept secret.

A recent report claimed that Samsung is also working on an affordable offering called the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE. This device is likely to be revealed next year.
