Six hydroelectric power plants have been temporarily shut down as a precautionary measure following a severe storm in an alpine valley in southern Switzerland. Swiss power producer Axpo said on Monday that all of the affected plants were in stable condition. Two were expected to be put back into operation quickly, however more extensive repairs were required at four other plants, Axpo said.
