A Pelicans player who has given years of service to the club as a player and an umpire has been honoured with a new award. Chris Willett is the inaugural winner of the Neville Carter Memorial Cup – named after the former club player, chairman and president who passed away back in 2022. Neville was and will always be remembered for being “Mr Pelican”. Having joined the club in 1954, he played, captained, umpired and served the committee as chairman and finally president for 15 years.
