Former President Donald Trump might have just given E. Jean Carroll’s legal team yet more weapons in her defamation suit against him, legal analyst Lisa Rubin suggested on her social media account on Tuesday. Trump’s remarks came shortly after he clinched a win against former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in the New Hampshire Republican primary. Some have said the second-state primary win was more narrow than the ex-president hoped for.
