A Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt , Rivers State, has convicted and sentenced a man in his fifties, Anayor Ugo, to seven years imprisonment without the option of a fine for defiling and impregnating a 12-year-old girl. Ugo, a generator repairer, was reported to have, some time in 2021, visited the home of the underage girl in Oyigbo to repair their generator set on the directives of the victim’s father, but defiled her in the process.
