It was a pleasure to read about the skillful landing of US Airways Flight 1549 and the prompt rescue of its passengers on therecent 15th anniversary of the Jan. 15, 2009, “Miracle on the Hudson.” The miracles did not cease after the Airbus 320 was evacuated mid-river. The plane was towed south to a pier adjacent to the World Trade Center site.
