By Rhodri Morgan European diesel oil imports from the US Gulf have reached their highest point in seven years and the second highest mark of all time as problems in the Red Sea continue to impact global trade. Data from global intelligence firm Kpler shared with City A.M shows that 283,000 metric tonnes of diesel made the journey to Europe from the US Gulf in the month of January, apoint last reached in August 2017.
