A Renault Clio driver who had drugs in her system while driving argued that they were not a contributing factor to her crashing into another car. Paula Savage, 43, of Priory Road in Downham, appeared at Lynn Magistrates’ Court on Thursday where she admitted driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs and driving without due care or attention. The court heard that, at 2pm on November 11, a two-vehicle crash occurred on Gayton Road in East Winch between a white Renault Clio and a Peugeot.
