Gary O’Neil has said that he is particularly excited to see Yerson Mosquera in Wolves pre-season ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. The central defender has been on loan with Villarreal since January, having previously spent a year with MLS club FC Cincinnati. The Colombia international enjoyed a really productive spell in the States, making 35 appearances in total. The idea was for Mosquera to play as much as possible, after sustaining a serious hamstring injury in his first season at Wolves.
