Arsenal continued their impressive start to the season with a 2-0 win against Aston Villa yesterday. The North Londoners were on the back foot for much of the encounter until Leandro Trossard netted the opener. Thomas Partey then fired in the second to seal the three points at Villa Park – a ground they lost at last term. Speaking after the game, Mikel Arteta admitted Arsenal could still make another signing before the transfer window slams shut on August 30th.
