New Delhi [India], July 25 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday congratulated Beijing Olympics gold medalist Abhinav Bindra for being awarded the Olympic Order by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The Olympic Order, established in 1975, is the highest award of the Olympic Movement. It is awarded for particularly distinguished contributions to the Olympic Movement, i.e. recognition of efforts worthy of merit in the cause of sport. The honour was established in 1975.
