Motorists and pedestrians in Edinburgh city centre were amused to see the mishap on Saturday night. Aidan McNelis, 45, was visiting Edinburgh for the weekend when he spotted the unusual sight. The vehicle had been lifted up by a submerged bollard and had its hazard lights on to warn other road users. A sign next to it stated: “CAUTION. Automatic bollards in operation.
