The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has neutralized a suspected kidnapper and rescued a 63-year-old retired Shell Petroleum Company worker. The Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Timfon John made this known to journalists on Monday. He said the Police rescue team killed the suspected kidnapper during a gun duel.
