A bonfire near a house got out of control last night, causing a shed and part of a fence to go up in flames. The incinerator fire at a home in Sittingbourne spread to the structure and two fire engines attended just before 9.30pm. Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze. Nobody was injured in the accident but Kent Fire and Rescue is urging residents to be extra careful when using incinerators.
