Pilots at Lufthansa subsidiary Discover Airlines are going on strike from Friday. A 24-hour strike is planned, according to information sent to union members by the pilots’ trade union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) on Wednesday which dpa has seen. According to the union, nearly 96% of pilots had voted to authorize a strike.
