A man died Wednesday afternoon during a shootout with police at a South Brunswick motel, according to a statement from the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office. Members of the United States Marshals Service NY/NJ Regional Task Force arrived at the motel, located on Route 1 South in the Monmouth Junction section of town, shortly after 2 p.m. to execute an arrest warrant for a suspect in several undisclosed felony offenses, the office said.
