Computer giant IBM saw profit rise in the second quarter, the company announced on Wednesday. The company’s bottom line totalled $1.83 billion, or $1.96 per share. This compares with $1.58 billion, or $1.72 per share, in last year’s second quarter. Excluding items, IBM reported adjusted earnings of $2.27 billion or $2.43 per share for the period.
