A pub has undergone a month-long revamp and reopened with “a modern twist” in the heart of a village. The White Hart in Brasted, Sevenoaks, closed on January 15 to undergo a £500,000 refurbishment. This includes new paintwork, two new open fireplaces in each dining area, new over-bar pendant lighting and new seating. Its garden also now features new picnic benches illuminated by festoon lighting and umbrellas to provide shelter for outdoor seating.
