Tiny particles emitted by planes are putting millions of people across Europe at risk of serious health conditions, a study has found. Some 52 million people near the 32 busiest airports in Europe are being exposed to “ultrafine particles” (UFPs) from aviation, according to findings from the study, released on Tuesday.
